Liz was nice to tell me how to do this so I will be trying this tomorrow when I have some time. Wish me luck. I hope I do not mess things up.

I have updated photos on ravelry (which took me 45 mins to upload 2 stinking photos) I so meed to spend more time working on doing different things on the computer.

Ravelry

I made it into Ravelry. I have now started to enter information into it. I have a feeling that I will be updating for a long time. I will need to take many photos to upload to flickr also. I can not wait to have the time to really work on it.

I will be going to knitting group tomorrow, but I will be late as I have orientation for school. I will be working on dish clothes for the donation basket that I will be putting together for Crikets benefit. Couple of wonderful friends have told me that they have completed some dish clothes for me. I really appreciate all that they are doing for my step brother.

what a wonderful weekend

We had a wonderful weekend. Nick started working at McDonalds. We are very pround of him for getting this job. About a month ago he came home from dinner at McDonalds on evening, and told us he wanted to apply at McDonalds. With his disablities we were not sure if he was ready and if he would get the job. Well he did and started friday night and is doing great.

Saturday we took Rylyn, Alley and Ryan to Afton Apple orchard. We had such a good time. Rylyn ate her first apple picked right from a tree. She really liked it. Later Saturday night she started to say appo. It was so cute.

Sunday Rick and I went to look at a house that one of my bosses have listed. On the way I told Rick we should start by looking at a home that we could really afford. So we went to an open house of another one of my bosses listings. Well we fellin in love with this house. We will be working on seeing if we can qualify for the mortgage for the house.

We had Alley and Rylyn over for dinner and dessert as it was Rylyn's 1st birthday.

My Step Brother's Benefit

Hello All,

I am posting this for My step brother Greg (Cricket) Scharffbillig. I will be coping the flyer that we will be posting around town.

On Feb 23, 1991 Greg risked his lie for the United States. He was a combt engineer in the United States Marine Corp. Cricket along with the other Marines in his unit, were part of the first ground force invasion into Kuwait. He and the other Marines went in first to clear the land mines so the tanks could rush though the next day.

Sixteen years later Cricket finds himself facing down another danger... This time in the form of cancer.

On July 25, 2007 Cricket was diagnosed with Glioblstoma Multiforme a brain tumor. Cricket is a 38 year old husband and father of three sons and is currently undergoing tratment for the brain tumor.

The North St Paul- Maplewood- Oakdale school district 622 has employed Cricket for the past 15 years. He started out as a night custodian, and is currently a bus driver and maintenance worker. After 15 years of dedication to the district 622, his fellow workers are trying to give something back to him.

Members of Local 70, the union Cricket belongs to are organizing a fundraiser and setting up a college fund for his three sons, Dillon 15, Brennon 9, and Logan 7. Please join Cricket and his family and friends in celebrating his life.

Sheep are Gross

Well had another long weekend working at the fair Satyurday and Sunday. On Monday my friend Rachele from knitting and I started to process the fleece that I was given by my boss.

She has one Sheep. This fleece was gross, dirty. I knew that the fleece would be dirty and have some waste on it, but this was nasty. Well Rachele and I had a good time anyways. Can't you tell.

Here is the fleece being cooked on the Grill. We used the Yarn Harlots method to washing fleece. We did do this on the grill so the house would not smell and it really would have smelled. Just ask Rachele.

It is amazing how clean this really came.

Before

After

Well we still have a lot more to wash as this was a long process and did notwash that much at a time. I am trying to figure out how to do this process in much much larger quanity.
I can't was to card it and then start to spin it.
